Yellow alert in 19 TN districts, heavy rain likely today, tomorrow

The Regional Meteorological Centre issued a yellow alert for 19 districts of Tamil Nadu and predicted heavy rainfall today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday). The affected districts include Coimbatore, Madurai, Erode, Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and Sivaganga. These districts are expected to receive substantial rainfall due to a cyclonic system and an upper air circulation over the sea.
