Yemen's Mocha port halts ops after being hit by Houthi missiles
Yemen's Mocha port suspended commercial and maritime operations after more than 25 missiles struck the facility in recent Houthi attacks, the port's director said Saturday. The strikes reportedly killed seven people and caused around $16 million in damage. Mocha is a key Red Sea port near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, a strategic chokepoint connecting Red Sea with Gulf of Aden.
