'Yes Sir, I Can Boogie' singer Maria Mendiola passes away at 69

Spanish singer Maria Mendiola, best known for song 'Yes Sir, I Can Boogie', passed away aged 69 on Saturday. Mendiola was a part of singing duo Baccara alongside Mayte Mateos. Their track 'Yes Sir, I Can Boogie' topped the UK chart in 1977 and sold over 16 million copies, breaking the record for most ever sold by an all-female group.
