Yoga as sport to create new job opportunities: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the First World Yogasana Championship 2026 in Ahmedabad, highlighting that recognizing yoga as a sport can create new employment and career opportunities. He said yogasana could become part of global sporting events like the Olympics and will generate jobs for athletes, coaches, researchers, and event managers worldwide.
