You have to stay strong: 102-year-old freedom fighter to Disha Ravi

HS Doreswamy, a 102-year-old freedom fighter, has asked Disha Ravi, the 22-year-old climate activist arrested on charges of sedition in connection with the toolkit case, "to stay strong”. Drawing parallels between the British era, emergency under former PM Indira Gandhi, and the current state of affairs, Doreswamy said that a movement has always emerged whenever democracy was threatened in India.
