Everton right-back Ashley Young has become the oldest player to be sent off in the history of Premier League. Young, who is 39 years and 39 days old, was shown the red card after he pulled Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma down from behind when clear on goal in their first match of Premier League 2024-25. Everton lost the match 0-3.
