Young Indians more likely to be jobless if they are educated: ILO report

Young people with higher education are more likely to be unemployed in India, an International Labour Organization report found. In 2022, unemployment rate among Indian youths was nine times higher for graduates than for persons who couldn't read or write. Unemployment problem in India has become increasingly concentrated among youth, especially educated youths and women in urban areas, ILO said.
