Younis Khan went past Javed Miandad on Tuesday to become Pakistan's leading run-getter in test matches. Younis, who is playing his 102nd Test, was third behind Inzamam-ul-Haq (8,830) and Javed Miandad (8,832) when he came in to bat against England in the first Test. The 37-year-old, who is the leading century-getter for Pakistan, crossed the landmark in the final session.
