YouPlus Founder accused of fraudulently raising $11 mn by faking revenue

US-based tech startup YouPlus' Founder Shaukat Shamim is accused of fraudulently raising $11 million by making false statements about revenues and future prospects. Despite claiming YouPlus has 150 customers, it had only 4 customers throughout its existence, a complaint said. YouPlus claims to have developed the world's first Video Opinion Intelligence Engine to understand people through video.
