Your career is ruined: Judge to students booked over GN Saibaba death anniversary event

A Mumbai court's judge reprimanded nine Tata Institute of Social Sciences students who were booked for attending a gathering to mark ex-Delhi University professor GN Saibaba’s death anniversary. "You've a criminal record now...Your career is ruined," the judge said. Saibaba was sentenced to life imprisonment for allegedly having links to Maoist rebels. He was acquitted by Bombay HC in 2024.
