Youth consumes poison at Punjab police station, alleges harassment

A youth consumed a poisonous substance at Punjab's Dhanaula police station on Thursday, alleging that police officials harassed him and demanded money. Joban Singh claimed in a Facebook video that his car had recently caught fire and that he had made repeated visits to the station to get a daily diary report registered. He was taken to hospital for treatment. Police said action will be taken.
