Youth foils 22,000 litre chemical dumping bid in Mumbra

A major environmental hazard was averted in Mumbra after local youth intercepted a tanker allegedly attempting to dump 22,000 litres of hazardous chemicals into Retibunder creek. Police seized the vehicle and registered an FIR. Experts have been called to analyse the chemicals, while suspects have been served notices.
