YouTube on Thursday announced that it will add the capability to broadcast live video to its mobile apps. The interface will let creators notify their subscribers when they are broadcasting and will allow them to chat with their viewers in near real time. The feature was initially launched with select creators including AIB, and will soon become more widely available.
