YouTube's ex-CEO Susan Wojcicki started her career as a photojournalist in India after studying history at Harvard. She returned to California within a few years to study economics and took a marketing role with Intel. Wojcicki joined Google as its first marketing manager in 1998 and eventually became YouTube CEO in 2014. She passed away on Friday after fighting cancer.
