YouTube to not show video recommendations if watch history is off

Google announced that YouTube won't show any video recommendations on the home feed if the user's watch history is turned off. "[Users] will be able to see the search bar and the left-hand guide menu, with no feed of recommended videos," Google said. "We're rolling these changes out...to make it clearer which YouTube features rely on watch history," it added.
