Youtubers, freelancers need to fill EDF form now, as per new rules

The RBI's new foreign exchange rules have brought service exporters under the Export Declaration Form (EDF) framework from October 1, 2026. Freelancers, consultants, agencies, IT firms and other professionals earning from overseas clients may now need to file EDF declarations through their banks. The general deadline is 30 days after the end of the invoice month.
