You've never seen Mars like this: NASA on pics of Mars

NASA shared two images of Mars taken by its Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN (MAVEN) spacecraft. "You've never seen Mars like this...Our MAVEN mission got some stunning tie-dye views of Mars in these two ultraviolet images," NASA wrote on Instagram. "MAVEN has a special instrument that lets us see Mars in ultraviolet wavelengths called the Imaging Ultraviolet Spectrograph," NASA added.
