YSRCP leader Govardhan Reddy arrested for illegal mining

YSRCP leader Kakani Govardhan Reddy was arrested on Monday for alleged illegal quartz mining, unauthorised usage of explosives, and abusing tribals, police said. Reddy, a former agriculture minister of Andhra Pradesh, was allegedly involved in illegal mining in Podalakur mandal of Andhra Pradesh's Nellore district. He was picked from the outskirts of Bengaluru and booked under various sections.
