YSRCP MLA faces action for damaging EVM in Andhra Pradesh

Election Commission on Tuesday, 21 May, directed the Andhra Pradesh police chief to take strict criminal action against YSRCP MLA P Ramakrishna Reddy caught on camera damaging an EVM in the Macherla assembly constituency during the 13 May election. EVMs were damaged that day in seven polling stations in Macherla constituency including where the MLA allegedly damaged an EVM.
