BJP leader Yumnam Khemchand Singh is set to become the new CM of Manipur as BJP elected him as the legislature party leader in the state. The decision came days ahead of the end of President's rule in the northeastern state. The post had been vacant since N Biren Singh resigned last year amid prolonged ethnic violence in the state.
