Yunus encourages Turkey to lead investment in Bangladesh

Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus urged Turkey to invest in defence, healthcare, and other sectors, highlighting the country’s young workforce. Turkish Minister Omer Bolat proposed replacing India and others as a key import partner of Bangladesh while expanding trade beyond textiles. With $1 billion in annual trade, Yunus encouraged Turkey to develop defence production in Bangladesh.
