Zee shares fall 10% after SEBI action, biggest drop since June 2024
Shares of Zee Entertainment fell over 10% on Monday, marking its steepest single-day decline since June 2024. The drop followed SEBI's one-year market ban on CEO Punit Goenka and founder Subhash Chandra over securities law violations. SEBI also imposed a ₹1.48 crore penalty after finding unauthorised pledging of company assets for shareholder-linked loans.
