Zee shares fell 6% after CBI booked Subhash Chandra over ₹1,322-cr loan fraud

Zee Entertainment shares fell 6% on September 7 after the CBI booked promoter Subhash Chandra and three others in an alleged ₹1,322-crore loan fraud involving LIC Housing Finance. The case followed a complaint alleging inflated net-worth documents were used to secure loans. The CBI charged them with conspiracy, cheating and breach of trust.
