Zee sues Nykaa over alleged copyright misuse of songs on Insta reels

Zee Entertainment has sued Nykaa for allegedly using its copyrighted songs in Instagram reels to promote its products, seeking $210,000 (₹2 crore) in damages, Reuters reported. Zee filed the lawsuit in the Delhi High Court on April 3, it added. Notably, Zee listed 12 Instagram reels, along with screenshots, where Nykaa allegedly used its licensed music in social media posts.
