Zelenskyy offers to meet Putin at G20 in Miami, Russia says ' it's impossible'

After Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he was ready to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin at the upcoming G20 Summit in Miami, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov responded, saying, “It is impossible.” Peskov said peace talks could only take place in Moscow. Zelenskyy and Putin have not met since the Russia-Ukraine war began in February 2022.
