Zlatko Dalic ends 9-yr stint as Croatia head coach after FIFA WC exit

Croatia head coach Zlatko Dalic stepped down following his side's exit from the FIFA World Cup 2026 after a 2-1 loss to Portugal in the Round of 32. Appointed head coach in 2017, he guided Croatia to the World Cup 2018 final against France. He managed Croatia in 111 matches, recording 62 wins, 20 draws and 29 defeats.
