Zoho Founder who moved from Silicon Valley to a village awarded Padma Shri

Software development startup Zoho's 54-year-old Founder Sridhar Vembu, who moved from Silicon Valley to Tamil Nadu's Mathalamparai village, is one of the recipients of 2021 Padma Shri awards. 'Padma Shri', awarded for distinguished service in any field, is being awarded to the billionaire in the Trade and Industry field. He also started a school in the village during COVID-19 lockdown.
