Zohran Mamdani criticises Iran govt days after condemning US' strikes, calls it 'brutal govt'

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has now criticised Iran government amid its war with US, calling it a "brutal government". "[It] engaged in systematic repression of its own people, even killing thousands of Iranians who were seeking to express the most basic forms of dissent," he stated. Earlier, Mamdani was criticised by Iranian-Americans for condemning US' strikes on Iran.
