Zomato, Swiggy violated antitrust laws in India: CCI

Zomato and Swiggy breached competition laws, with their business practices favouring select restaurants listed on their platforms, Competition Commission of India (CCI) said in documents seen by Reuters. The antitrust investigation against Swiggy and Zomato, which began in 2022, found that these antitrust practises "prevent the market from becoming more competitive", CCI said.
