Zomato appoints former GE exec Sameer Maheshwary as CFO

Online restaurant discovery and food-delivery platform Zomato on Thursday said it has appointed Sameer Maheshwary as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Maheshwary will be joining the Gurugram-based startup in July from GE India, where he currently serves as the CFO. Commenting on the development, Maheshwary said he is "really excited" and looking forward to joining the Zomato team.
