Zomato delists non-licensed restaurants post FSSAI clampdown

Following an order from The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), Zomato has started delisting non-licensed restaurants from its platform. Earlier in July, FSSAI had instructed food-tech players to delist non-compliant restaurant partners to ensure food hygiene and safety. It follows several complaints of substandard food being delivered through these aggregators.
