Zomato gets notice from govt panel over 'Kachra' ad featuring 'Lagaan' actor

The National Commission For Scheduled Castes has served a notice to food delivery giant Zomato over its now-retracted ad campaign which featured 'Lagaan' actor Aditya Lakhia. It has asked Zomato to send an "action-taken report" to it over the issue. Lakhia was seen in the ad campaign as 'Kachra'- the Dalit character portrayed by him in 'Lagaan'.
