Zomato shares fall nearly 6% after Blinkit acquisition

Zomato's share price dipped by nearly 6% during intraday trade on Monday after the online food delivery platform announced that it has acquired Blinkit for ₹4,447 crore in an all-stock deal. While the shares briefly surged nearly 4% in early trade to ₹73 from its previous close of ₹70.35, the stock price is currently trading at ₹66.60 on BSE.
