Zomato to acquire Paytm's entertainment ticketing business for ₹2,048 crore

Zomato on Wednesday said it will acquire the movie and events ticketing businesses of Paytm for ₹2,048 crore. As part of the transaction, around 280 employees will move to Zomato, a press release by the food delivery platform said. There is no other major physical infrastructure being acquired, as per the press release.
