Japanese financial services company Nomura's India arm has valued the food discovery and ordering startup Zomato at $1.4 billion. The valuation comes after reports said Zomato may raise up to $200 million from Alibaba's payments firm Ant Financial. Nomura estimated Zomato's sales could reach $300 million over five years to the fiscal year 2022.
