Zoo paints chow chow dogs to look like tigers in China, criticised

Taizhou zoo in China is facing criticism for reportedly painting chow chow dogs to look like tigers. The zoo defended the move, stating that it was a "gimmick" and assured that the dye isn't harmful. It added that the dog was dyed into a "'tiger dog', not a tiger". Notably, the same zoo had painted dogs like pandas last year.
