Zoom Founder transfers 40% of his stake worth $6 billion

Video-conferencing platform Zoom Founder Eric Yuan transferred 18 million shares worth $6 billion last week. Yuan, who had a pre-transfer net worth of $15.1 billion, transferred almost 40% of his stake in the company to unspecified beneficiaries. The transfers were shown as gifts in a regulatory filing. A Zoom spokesperson said they were related to Yuan's estate planning practices.
