Zoom launches $100M fund for startups using its tech to build apps

Videoconferencing platform Zoom has announced a $100 million global venture fund to invest in startups that are building apps using its technology. The 'Zoom Apps Fund' will make an initial investment of $250,000 to $2.5 million in each portfolio company, Zoom said in a statement. "We are looking for companies with a viable product and early market traction," it added.
