Zydus Cadila to sell India-focused animal health unit for ₹2,921 cr

Zydus Cadila has said that its subsidiary Zydus Animal Health and Investment has agreed to sell its India-focused animal healthcare unit to Multiples Alternate Asset Management-led consortium for ₹2,921 crore. The consortium, which includes Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and billionaire investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's RARE Enterprises, will buy the unit through a special purpose vehicle.
