€240 million allocated by UEFA for clubs in 2020-24 benefits programme
UEFA on Friday said it has allocated €240 million to pay clubs for releasing their players for national team competitions as part of its benefits programme for the 2020-2024 cycle. The amount is based on the total generated by the European Championship tournament. UEFA said €200 million was paid to 697 clubs across all 55 member associations after EURO 2020.
