₹1 cr reward announced for men's badminton team for historic Thomas Cup win

Sports Minister Anurag Thakur has said that a ₹1 crore cash reward will be given to the Indian men's badminton team to acknowledge their historic Thomas Cup win. "This extraordinary feat, with successive victories over Malaysia, Denmark and Indonesia, calls for matching honour by the nation," said Thakur. PM Narendra Modi also congratulated the team.
