₹1 crore cash found at residence of AIADMK MLA R Chandrasekar's driver

The Income Tax Department has recovered unaccounted cash worth ₹1 crore from the residence of AIADMK MLA R Chandrasekar's driver in Tiruchirappalli. Chandrasekar, who has been an AIADMK legislator for the last 10 years in the Manapparai constituency, has now been selected as the AIADMK candidate for the third time in the constituency for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
