₹1.17cr spent on food during Jaya's 75-day hospitalisation

As much as ₹1.17 crore was spent on food alone during the 75 days that former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa was admitted to Apollo Hospitals in Chennai in 2016. The total cost of the hospitalisation was ₹6.85 crore. This was revealed in documents submitted by the hospital to the inquiry commission probing her death.
