₹147 cr worth drugs, cash seized from poll-bound Tripura, Nagaland

The Election Commission seized drugs, cash and liquor worth over ₹147 crore in Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland so far. While elections in Tripura were held on Thursday, Meghalaya and Nagaland will go to polls on February 27, officials said. "The recorded seizures in the three states mark...over 20 times increase in seizures...compared to Assembly elections in 2018," the EC said.
