₹1,600-cr ambulance contract given to JD(U) MP's relatives, say reports; leader reacts
The Bihar government has reportedly awarded a ₹1,600-crore contract to run emergency ambulances across the state to a firm owned by the relatives of Jehanabad MP Chandeshwar Prasad Chandravanshi of the ruling JD(U). Reacting to the reports, Chandravanshi has said, "It's my relatives' company and I have no personal say or stake in it." "Nitish Kumar...doesn't favour anyone," he added.
