₹2000 note-keepers welcomed on red carpet to exchange: Chidambaram

After SBI clarified that no ID proof is required to exchange ₹2,000 notes up to ₹20,000, Congress leader P Chidambaram tweeted that this has "demolished" BJP's stand that withdrawal is to "unearth black money". Calling the introduction of ₹2,000 notes a "foolish move", he added, "The keepers of ₹2,000 notes are being welcomed on...red carpet to exchange their notes."
