₹415 skirt worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in 'Sex and the City' sold for ₹43 lakh

A skirt worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in opening credits of the series 'Sex and the City' was auctioned for $52,000 (over ₹43 lakh). The oyster white tulle skirt was found by costume designer Patricia Field while sifting through a five-dollar bin in New York's Garment District, Julien's Auctions said. Parker played the role of Carrie Bradshaw in the series.
