₹442 for 2 bananas, ₹1,700 for eggs at 5-star hotels sad thing: Paswan

Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan has said five-star hotels overcharging for items like bananas and eggs is a very serious matter and a sad thing. He was referring to actor Rahul Bose being charged ₹442 for 2 bananas and another man being charged ₹1,700 for two boiled eggs. Paswan added he has sought explanation from the hotels.
