₹699 crore allocated for upgradation of Secunderabad railway station

The South Central Railway has planned ₹699 crore redevelopment project for Secunderabad railway station. The project was handed over to the contractor with a target of completion in 36 months, as per reports. The project also includes construction of a new three-storied building on the northern side of the station and two walkways for passengers.
