The 12-year-old Mumbai boy charged with murdering his tuition teacher has claimed he was paid ₹1,000 to kill her, a police officer stated. The officer added, "It appears he was threatened that if he did not murder her, he would be killed." The boy has also claimed that he spent the money at a mall and was promised ₹5,000 more.
